Standing water at the bottom of your dishwasher after a full cycle is one of those problems that looks worse than it usually is. Most of the time, you don’t need a technician. You need twenty minutes and a pair of rubber gloves.

Start with the Filter (Seriously, Start Here)

If you didn’t knock it out before connecting the drain hose, you’ve got a solid plastic wall where the water should go.
